Capturing life through a Lens...
I consider myself an artist who uses a camera as my media of choice! Throughout my life I have always felt like I saw the world differently from others... now as a photographer I get the unique opportunity to share my vision with the world through the images I capture. There is beauty in every small aspect of life, whether its the way a baby smiles at its mother or the way that paint ages on fence post. I belief it is my job to capture that beauty that others may not see.
As an artist, I love to capture images of the environment that we live in each day. My primary focus is on New Orleans architecture and scenes of the modern urban landscape, but as I move into portraits I like to capture people in unique and casual ways. I prefer to connect to my clients in a way that expresses their lifestyle; this allows me to create lasting, memorable images that combine their personality with my artistic style.
Photography has been a passion of mine for several years, and in 2008 I decided to begin pursuing it professionally. I am a life long resident of the New Orleans area, but I love to travel and explore new places. Although, I am primarily a self-taught photographer, I have studied art and photography at Southeastern Louisiana University and the New Orleans Academy of Fine Art.
